Norwegian Evening Cruise on the Fjord in Oslo Norway
Cruise on a traditional wooden sailboat in Oslo! Sit back and enjoy this fabulous evening cruise in Oslo, on board a traditional wooden sailing ship that passes through a maze of green islands! While you enjoy the scenery and beautiful islands, you'll savor the fresh flavor of Norwegian prawns (very large shrimp), best eaten with lemon, mayonnaise, bread and butter. Oslo, with its superb location, offers unique opportunities on and around its fjord, which stretches almost into the city center. You’ll sail past Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, and slowly through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so you can capture the moments for posterity in photos. The boat passes close to the peninsula of Bygdøy, housing many interesting museums as well as beaches such as Huk Bay, where you will seee the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, as well as the impressive Fram Museum, which houses the polar ship of the same name. During your cruise, a favorite Norwegian buffet snack of prawns (shrimps) will be offered. There is also a bar on board with a wide range of hot and cold beverages that can be purchased separately.
